MTG Commander 2018 arrives THIS Friday!
Commander 2018 spoilers have begun, and holy-moley are we excited! Planeswalker Commanders are back baby! Not only that, but this time they chose to design the themes off of popular card types that can be made into entire decks!
We’ve written up WHY we’re stoked about the newest COMMANDER decks, and, also put together a special offer for you to save some $$ when you pre-order all 4 Commander decks with us before 8/8/18!
Check out the details here!
Tons of awesome AGE OF SIGMAR goodies arriving with NIGHTHAUNT Dreadscythe Harridans, Nighthaunt Bladegheist Revenants, Stormcast Eternals Evocators, and then two little slices of awesome with the Leikoron the Exuectioner and Lord Ordinator minis!
Snag ’em this weekend at Third Eye!
The YU-GI-OH Powercode Link Structure Decks drop this Friday, and they are pretty killer!
Create brand new Link Summoning combinations with Structure Deck: Powercode Link! This Deck features a new “Code Talker” Link Monster plus LINK-2 and LINK-3 monsters you can Summon using any monsters, and whose Link Arrows all point to your own Main Monster Zones!
Structure Deck: Powercode Link is a great second step for Duelists who started Dueling with Starter Deck: Codebreaker. Co-Link your Transcode Talker from Starter Deck: Codebreaker with Powercode Talker to boost both monsters by 500 ATK and make them untargetable by opposing card effects! The added protection helps keep Powercode Talker ready to make double-powered attacks every turn.
For Duelists that like to live dangerously, a new Field Spell Card gives you a chance to Special Summon a random Cyberse-Type Link Monster directly from your Extra Deck without having to Link Summon or use any monsters as materials. But to claim that reward, you must take 2000 or more damage from one battle or card effect, simulating Playmaker’s “Storm Access” skill from the animated series!
What’d you get when you take one of the best board games of recent memory, and make it so all your little Third Eye fans at home can play?
MY LITTLE SCYTHE!
My Little Scythe is a competitive, family-friendly game in which each player controls 2 animal miniatures embarking upon an adventure in the Kingdom of Pomme.
In an effort to be the first to earn 4 trophies from 8 possible categories, players take turns choosing to Move, Seek, or Make. These actions will allow players to increase their friendship and pies, power up their actions, complete quests, learn magic spells, deliver gems and apples to Castle Everfree, and perhaps even engage in a pie fight.
Some of My Little Scythe’s mechanisms are inspired by the bestselling game, Scythe. It caught the eye of Stonemaier Games as a fan-created print-and-play game in 2017 (it went on to win the BoardGameGeek 2017 award for best print-and-play game).
Join us next Thursday for our next Tabletop Thursdays featuring CODENAMES!!
Two rival spymasters know the secret identities of 25 agents. Their teammates know the agents only by their CODENAMES.
In Codenames, two teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first. Spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the board.
Play involves pairing off into teams of 2-4 and facing off trying to rescue your field agents by offering a codename for your allies to pick the correct locations to retrieve them. But choose carefully for in the world of spies there are double agents, and assassins lurking around every corner!
When: Thursday August 16th,
Time: 6:00-6:25pm registration / meet and greet, demos if need be; 6:30pm start time
Entry: Free! tables of 2 teams consisting of 2-4 players each; Codenames, Codenames Pictures, and Codenames Duet
