Third Eye Fall Commander League!!

Commander League is back just in time for the holidays! This time we are featuring Guilds of Ravnica! Join us October 7th – November 25th for eight weeks of cardboard-slinging madness!

DAH Rules!
This league is designed as the ultimate Commander experience, walking a balancing act between being competitive and show-casing more inventive cards. Most importantly the focus is on FUN!
Players will be randomized into pods of 3 or 4 and will have 60 minutes to duke it out for Weekly prizes, earning placement points, AND a sheet of 8-10 achievements which get added to their league total!!

• 7 weeks of achievement farming ; the 8th week is a championship comprised of the top 16 points earners from the season.
• Placement points: 1st 4pts ; 2nd 3pts ; 3rd 2pts ; 4th 1pt
• In a 3 player pod 4th place doesn’t exist so you would get the 3rd place points if you finish last.
• If time in the round expires all remaining players split the remaining points
• If you present a lethal board state, you cannot choose not to use it to farm achievement points.
• If a player wins via infinite combo OR presents a board state the rest of the pod agrees to concede to, that player receives the highest placement points they can, and the rest of the pod continues to play.

Weekly Prize Payouts: (not including achievement points)
12 points: 6 packs
10-11.5 points: 4 packs
7-9.5 points: 2 packs
Participation Prize: Sign-up for the league guarantees players at least $20 in prize packs!
Championship Prizes: Players who make it to the championship will earn additional prizes for how far they make it into the tournament. Top 16, Top 8, Final 4, or the Champion! (Championship prizes based off attendance in the league and will be revealed by week 4)

Compete in Iron GM Saturday 11/17 !!

You are a Game Master. But how do you stack up against other Game Masters? This Iron GM® Local competition is your opportunity to show the local gaming community your skills, ability, and imagination!
Choose your weapon wisely. Any game system is allowed. GMs are randomly assigned to a table of players. Inspired by three Secret Story Elements unveiled at the event, GMs create an adventure then run it for players. Afterwards, players judge GMs on their performance. GMs have one hour to craft their adventures, while players use the same time to build characters. After four hours of thrills, players rate GMs using tournament-tested criteria. The results are then tallied, and the winner will bear the title of Third Eye Iron Ranked GM.

Here is what you will need:
-The Core Rule book for your system of choice
-Your Good Dice
-Your writing tools
-Every ounce of creativity and imagination you can muster
If you are not a GM, we need players to take part in some great adventures and judge the Game Masters. Players are assigned at random, so be prepared to try something new!
This is an Iron GM® licensed event.

Every Wednesday night is Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League!

Adventurers’ League is part of the Wizards of the Coast ORGANIZED PLAY network for D&D and provides a running story line where the players actions determine the fate of the world. Every season of AL builds on the one prior of the players actions or inactions. It is structured in such a way that players can drop in and out as desired but to witness and take part in the full campaign they should return weekly. With a worldwide community they can take their characters and play anywhere adventures league rules as follows. While there are some restrictions on character creation and rules variance, it allows a fair play across the board to allow the flexibility of travel and play.

If you are interested in playing AL at Third Eye you can ask questions or sign up for the wait-list at our online web portal.

“Famed explorer Volothamp Geddarm needs you to complete a simple quest. Thus begins a mad romp through the wards of Waterdeep as you uncover a villainous plot involving some of the city’s most influential figures.

A grand urban caper awaits you. Pit your skill and bravado against villains the likes of which you’ve never faced before, and let the dragon hunt begin!”-Wizards of the Coast

They also select two Basic Action Cards. Constructed games are played at 20 life. Rounds last 30 minutes and then are judged based on life totals.
A player may not bring two characters with the same name, even if they have different subtitles (i.e. Wolverine: Wanted, and Wolverine: Canucklehead).

NEVER PLAYED? No worries! Andrew Miller will be running the event and can teach you everything you need to know to get started. Plus, many of our top players started not too long ago and love introducing new players to the game!

WHAT IS DICE MASTERS? Basically, it’s like a trading card game, but with dice! In Dice Masters, two players take the role of masterminds directing the actions of a team of powerful supers (represented by dice) to battle each other! Each turn, you’ll roll your dice to see what resources you have available, buy dice, send your team members into the field, and then strike at the enemy mastermind. Reduce the opposing mastermind’s life to zero, and save the day!

Dicemasters is a dice-building game (similar to deck-building card games) where players collect and assemble their team of character dice and battle in head-to-head gameplay.
